Terms of Service

By accessing or using ThreadPM you agree to these Terms. If you are using ThreadPM on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

ThreadPM provides AI-assisted project management via email. You get a unique agent email address; when CC'd into an email thread, ThreadPM reads the thread, creates a project record, tracks replies, and sends automated status messages back into the thread. The service uses Anthropic's Claude API to analyze email content and extract structured project data.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. AI-generated project metadata (titles, action items, deadlines) may be inaccurate — always verify important decisions independently.

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and agent email address.
• You must be 18 or older to use ThreadPM.
• You may not share your account credentials with third parties outside your organization.
• Notify us immediately at legal@threadpm.com of any unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Use ThreadPM to send spam, unsolicited email, or messages that violate applicable law.
• CC your agent address into email threads without a legitimate business purpose or without authorization from relevant parties.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, benchmark, or overload the service.
• Use the service to transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label access to ThreadPM without our written permission.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or billing controls.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

By using ThreadPM you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process the email content you route through your agent address, solely for the purpose of providing the ThreadPM service to you. You represent that you have the right to process the email threads you route through ThreadPM.

Your data belongs to you. We do not sell it, use it to train AI models, or share it with third parties for marketing. You can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

• Free plan — limited to 3 active projects and 10 emails per month. No credit card required.
• Pro plan — billed monthly or annually. 600 emails/month included. Prices may change with 30 days notice.
• ProjectBeast plan — billed monthly or annually. 5,000 emails/month, up to 5 agent email addresses.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime via the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days except where required by law.
• Refunds on monthly plans: we offer a pro-rated refund within 7 days of a charge if the service has not functioned as described.
• Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the end of your current billing period; Pro features remain available until then.
• If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. Continued non-payment may result in account suspension.

To protect service quality for all users, we enforce per-org rate limits and monthly email caps as described on the pricing page. Emails exceeding the monthly limit are queued until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that generate abnormal or abusive traffic patterns.

ThreadPM and its software, features, and branding are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Your project data, email content, and any content you create remains yours. We claim no ownership over it.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute ThreadPM's software or interface without our written permission.

ThreadPM integrates with Anthropic, Postmark, Stripe, Clerk, and Railway to deliver the service. Your use of these services through ThreadPM is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

The outbound webhooks feature (Pro and above) allows you to connect ThreadPM to third-party services. We are not responsible for the security, availability, or conduct of webhook endpoints you configure.

ThreadPM is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, accuracy of AI-generated project data, or fitness for any particular purpose. AI analysis may be incorrect — project titles, action items, deadlines, and status updates should be reviewed by a human before acting on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ThreadPM's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months immediately before the claim arose, or (b) US $50.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ThreadPM and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any conduct we determine is harmful to the service or other users.

Upon termination: your access ends immediately; your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy; accrued charges remain due; and Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You may bring claims in small claims court as an alternative to arbitration. Class action waivers apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms with at least 14 days notice via email to your registered address. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with a change, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
